Just a picture I took recently of the beach near where I live. I often go there and pretend it's somewhere like the South of France or some such destination, but actually it's pretty nice. Most of my pictures end up sepia toned, I like it that way.
The photo in my profile is Lily and I [a producer friend] and yes, I am aware that in the photo it looks as if we share the same hairdresser.
Well, I'm a screenwriter and filmmaker and the way it works for me is that I write my own scripts and either sell them or make them myself, yes, I'm self-taught, through necessity rather than choice I would say but it does give you more control.
Today I found a worthy cause through a filmmaker friend of mine (all my friends are in the film business don't ya you know!) who's put together a little marvel called Black Gold. It's message is that Coffee growers are vastly underpaid for their product and it behooves all us coffee drinkers to do what we can to bring this to the attention of those that can do something about it, IE the big coffee buyers like Starbucks etc of this world. The point of it is that if the growers are pushed out of the market due to no profit they'll just switch crops and start growing cocaine as many already have. The link is over there on the right.
